| Baltimore Ravens |

Last Week: --------------------------- The Ravens went into Texas Stadium for a must win game and came away with an impressive victory over the Cowboys. A defensive struggle turned into an offensive feast in the 4th quarter as the Ravens and Cowboys went TD for TD until the Ravens finally shut them down.
This Week: --------------------------- This week the Jaguars come to town to end the regular season. From a fantasy perspective playing any Raven is a gamble. The game has been moved to a 4:15 start. If the Patriots lose to the Bills at in the 1:00 game (not likely) the Ravens will clinch their spot in the playoff and many of the walking wounded Ravens, like Derrick Mason, will never see the field. But, if the more likely scenario happens and the Ravens need the game to make the playoffs, all hands will be on deck. But, it's a gamble.
Rumors: ---------------------------
Injuries: --------------------------- Derrick Mason reinjured his separated shoulder against the Cowboys. If the game is needed he'll play.
Position Analysis: --------------------------- QUARTERBACKS:
If Joe Flacco can learn to cover the ball and take a sack when the play is dead in the water, this team could be unbeatable. Recently he's shown he hasn't learned that lesson yet and his fumbles have been costly. If he plays much against the Jaguars he should have good numbers. But that's a big if. Prediction: Flacco, 230 yard, 2TD, 15 yards rushing
RUNNING BACKS:
Ray Rice should be back this week. Look for a good miz from all 3 running backs in order to get them all work while resting them all as much as possible. This makes none of them a good play though LeRon McClain will see the endzone. Prediction: McClain 50 yards, 1TD; McGahee 45 yards, 10 rec yds; ; Rice 30 yds, 10 yds rec
WIDE RECEIVERS:
Like I said above, if the playoffs are in the bag come game time, Derrick Mason will rest his ailing shoulder. If not he'll see a lot of balls, at waist level. But they're going to need Clayton and Smith to step up too. Prediction: Mason 70 yds; Clayton 70 yards, 1 TD; Smith 20 yards
TIGHT ENDS:
They'll need Todd Heap also to step up and take some catches away from Derrick Mason. Prediction: Heap 50 yds, 1TD
PLACE KICKER:
Look for Stover to get a few FG's shots this week. Prediction: Stover 2 FG, 3 EP
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS:
Looking at Jacksonville I don't see what their offense is going to be able to do against this defense. Especially with no Fred Taylor they won't run and they have no receivers left that scare anyone. Though they haven't turned the ball over much I look for them too this week just rying to find something that works. Prediction: 2 int, 1 fum, 3 sacks for 25 yds, 1TD

| Cincinnati Bengals |
By: Open Position Updated: 12/25/2008
Please access our Premium Products for the Cincinnati Bengals Team Capsule, Player Rankings/Statistics, Crystal Ball Projections, Fantasy Recommendations and much more.
Last Week: --------------------------- Bengals - 14, Browns - 0: The Bengals D limited a really, really bad Browns offense to about 180 yards of total offense, and Cedric Benson had a flashback to his University of Texas days and ran like a first-round pick should.
This Week: --------------------------- One of the few teams worse than the Bengals this year, the Kansas City Chiefs, travel to Cincy this weekend to close out the season. The Bengals have a legit shot at winning four of their last five games this season because the Chiefs play just well enough to lose.
Rumors: --------------------------- No rumor this week.
Injuries: --------------------------- Chad Johnson probably won't play this week.
Position Analysis: --------------------------- QUARTERBACKS: Don't play Ryan Fitzpatrick even though the Chiefs rank last in the NFL in defense.
RUNNING BACKS: Cedric Benson could be a dark horse sleeper pick this week because the Chiefs are very very bad against the run. However, he could revert to his Chicago Bear days and only get you 20 yards, so be careful.
WIDE RECEIVERS:
Fitzpatrick is so bad that I can't even recommend TJ Houshmanzadeh, but if you must start a Cincy WR, Housh is the only one.
TIGHT ENDS:
Do we have one??
PLACE KICKER: Shane Graham will be just like 15 other NFL kickers this week. He'll get 3 or 4 FG attempts and a couple of XPs.
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS:
Last weeks' goose egg notwithstanding, the Chiefs offense has actually played very, very well this year and Tyler Thigpen is mobile enough to make the Bengals defense pay. I wouldn't start the Bengals D this week.

| Cleveland Browns |
By: Frank Foti Updated: 12/23/2008
Please access our Premium Products for the Cleveland Browns Team Capsule, Player Rankings/Statistics, Crystal Ball Projections, Fantasy Recommendations and much more.
Last Week: --------------------------- This stuff I am writing is hard to make up so you'll have to believe it. The Browns again failed to score a TD and lost to the Bengals 14-0. Between the 3 quarterbacks in the game, 2 for Cleveland and 1 for Cincinnati the total passing yards were 131. The Browns starter Ken Dorsey had 68 yards and Bruce Gradkowski had 8. The 2 Browns quarterbacks threw 4 interceptions one for a touchdown the other way. Dorsey could not finish the game and was replaced by Gradkowski. It very possible that Dorsey will miss the final game and Gradkowski who was recently signed will get the start. Gradkowski played his college ball at Toledo and has not started a NFL game for sometime. Also signed this week was Richard Bartel as the back-up QB, you know him he played at Tarelton State. Josh Cribbs will also see more action at the quarterback spot, Josh played QB at Kent State and would be my choice as starter. As for the running game Jamal Lewis finished the game with 76 yards. On the receiving end Braylon Edwards had 35.
This Week: --------------------------- The Browns travel to play the Steelers for their final game of the season. There is nothing else to say. If you use a Browns player this week you have a very bad fantasy team.
Rumors: --------------------------- THANKS FOR STOPPING BY MY SITE THIS YEAR, WE BROWNS FANS CAN ONLY HOPE FOR BETTER THINGS TO COME. SEE YOU ALL NEXT SEASON!
Injuries: ---------------------------
Cleveland Browns: QB Ken Dorsey Concussion Questionable, RB Jerome Harrison Ribs Probable, WR Joshua Cribbs Back Probable, TE Kellen Winslow Ankle Out, Darnell Dinkins FB Ankle Probable
Position Analysis: ---------------------------
QUARTERBACKS:
Not sure who may start for now, look for 100 yards of passing and 0 touchdowns. Josh Cribbs will take a few snaps but most likely will be running the ball when he does.
RUNNING BACKS:
The starter at running back is Jamal Lewis, look for Lewis to have 75 yards of rushing. If Lewis plays the whole game there is no other RB to look at. Harrison is the second back and he can break a big play but he will not get many carries with Lewis in the game, he is also listed on the injury report.
WIDE RECEIVERS:
Braylon Edwards is the number one receiver on the depth chart. Look for 50 yards receiving. Donte Stallworth is the number 2 receiver so look for 30 yards.
TIGHT ENDS:
Kellon Winslow is out. Steve Heiden is the back-up TE.
PLACE KICKER:
Phil Dawson should finish the game with 1 field goals.
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS:
Josh Cribbs is the only special feature here. I would not use the Browns defense.

| Pittsburgh Steelers |

Please access our Premium Products for the Pittsburgh Steelers Team Capsule, Player Rankings/Statistics, Crystal Ball Projections, Fantasy Recommendations and much more.
Last Week: --------------------------- The Steelers saw a golden opportunity to grab the number one seed in the AFC literally slip through Ben Roethlisberger’s fingers. Roethlisberger turned the ball over four times (two fumbles and two interceptions) in a 31-14 loss in Tennessee.
|
-
|
The Steelers still lead the all-time series against the Titans/Oilers, 41-30 (1-8 in Tennessee).
|
|
-
|
The Steelers have lost four of their last five games against the Titans.
|
|
-
|
The Steelers have lost eight of their last nine games in Tennessee.
|
|
-
|
The Steelers snapped a five game winning streak.
|
This Week: --------------------------- Now the Steelers end the season at home in a meaningless game against the Browns. I think that Mike Tomlin will play the starters on a limited basis in the game, just to keep them fresh going into the playoffs.
The Steelers defense ranks 1st overall (2nd against the run and 1st against the pass). The Browns defense ranks 26th overall (29th against the run and 13th against the pass).
Even with the backups playing, it will be an easy day for the Steelers. Prediction: Steelers – 31, Browns - 3
|
-
|
The Steelers lead the all-time series against the Browns, 58-55 (36-21 in Pittsburgh).
|
|
-
|
The Steelers have won the last 10 games against the Browns.
|
|
-
|
The Steelers have won the last eight games in Pittsburgh against the Browns (last loss was in 1999, 16-15).
|
|
-
|
The Steelers have won five of their last six games, while the Browns have lost five straight games.
|
Rumors: --------------------------- None
Injuries: ---------------------------
Probable:
None
Questionable:
Ben Roethlisberger – QB – ankle
James Harrison – LB - hip
Out:
Marvel Smith – OT – back
Ryan Clark – S - shoulder
Position Analysis: --------------------------- QUARTERBACKS:
Ben Roethlisberger pretty much lost the game for the Steelers against the Titans. He did throw for 331 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions and fumbled twice.
Don’t start any Steelers quarterback this week. Ben will be very limited and the Steelers will be running the ball all day.
Fantasy Outlook: DO NOT start a Steelers quarterback!
RUNNING BACKS:
Willie Parker rushed 18 times for only 29 yards against the Titans. Again, Parker will see limited playing time, but he still may be able to be productive in the limited playing time against a horrible Browns run defense.
Fantasy Outlook: Look for both Parker and Moore to rush 10-15 times for 50-75 yards and a touchdown.
WIDE RECEIVERS:
Hines Ward came up big against the Titans, catching seven balls for 109 yards and a touchdown. Santonio Holmes contributed with five catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. But the unsung hero of the wide receiver corp this season has been Nate Washington. He has had many huge catches throughout the season.
Fantasy Outlook: Look for both Ward and Holmes to have around 50-75 yards receiving with one catching a touchdown.
TIGHT ENDS:
Heath Miller caught eight balls for 69 yards last week against the Titans.
Fantasy Outlook: Look for Miller to get around only 25-50 yards this week.
PLACE KICKER:
Jeff Reed missed a huge filed goal at the end of the half against Tennessee. Look for him to have a good day against Cleveland (1-2 field goals, 3-4 extra points).
DEFENSE:
The Steelers defense is the best in the NFL, so they are a must start every game.
